I Believe it was always Colby’s philosophy; if you can help somebody who’s in a bad or sad mood, feeling lonely, maybe who needed extra encouragement, anyone who seemed to have no one else there, believing as he passed along the way he made somebody smile through his laughter, his joy, his sense of humor, his love for sports (especially the game of basketball), who needed to see a Light in this dark world~ Then he could say to God at night…”My day was not in vain.” I am Very content Knowing…that Colby’s life was Worthwhile! That Colbman lived Gods plan & purpose for his life…He wasted not a day_whether a hug (famous Colby ones), a Smile (again Colby’s famous smiles that lit up a room)~that he Lived for Christ! Colby will Forever Live on…Gods Word says, John 6:47 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life.” This is Jesus speaking…again: John 11:25 “Jesus says, I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.” As Colb’s mom I Believe In Gods Timing He Heals~ time does not heal but God heals in His Time…I will Forever Trust in the Lord who is Faithful, True, and whose Promises are Yes & Amen in Christ Jesus… Psalm 147:3 “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (sorrows).

Colby, I’ve been thinking of you and your momma and daddy all weekend! As someone said earlier, it’s a date on the calendar we wish wasn’t there but it is another day closer to everyone being together again. What an inspiration you were here on Earth and still, in Heaven!

Another year….another Anniversary I wish was not on my calendar. Another year closer….. We miss you so much Colby!! 5 years since we saw you smile…heard your laughs, got one of those hugs goodbye. Thank you for being you and allowing us to be part of your life!
